![]() ... The National Science Digital Library (NSDL) Strand Map, that is. The project is featured within the NSDL Science Literacy Maps as a related resource for the Habits of Mind/Values in Science benchmark. Once you've navigated to the science literacy map, click the benchmark "Scientists value evidence that can be verified, hypotheses that can be tested, and theories that can be used to make predictions." SIMPLE will be among the related resources provided for that benchmark. SIMPLE Science is an NSF-funded NSDL project targeted toward primarily middle-schoolers. The collection features 12 activities on topics including biology, medicine, Earth and space science, digital literacy, and social science.
