The Florida Coastal Everglades Long-Term Ecological Research (FCE-LTER) Site (FCE-LTER) is forming a partnership with the Riverwoods Field Lab at Florida Atlantic University.  They have three research sites that are located at: Riverwoods on the Kissimmee River in Highlands County, DuPuis pinelands/cypress marsh in southern Martin county, and LILA in Loxahatchee Refuge.  The FCE LTER site plans to develop GIS lessons that support the Coastlines curriculum while collaborating with other teachers at Riverwoods.
