On 11 October 2006, Science Approach conducted a workshop on digital image capture and analysis at the 2006 Professional Development Conference of the National Association of Biology Teachers. Twenty teachers attended the four-hour workshop in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The workshop featured hands-on practice with Ken-A-Vision cameras and microscropes and instruction on digital image analysis using Discovering Image Processing as the workshop guide.
