The National Marine Sanctuaries program of the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) contracted with the Center for Image Processing in Education (CIPE) to develop lessons for its Exploring Data using GIS to Experience Sanctuaries (EDGES) project. CIPE collaborated with four national marine sanctuaries in developing the materials: Channel Islands National Marine Sanctuary (CINMS), Florida Keys National Marine Sanctuary (FKNMS), Stellwagen Bank National Marine Sanctuary (SBNMS), and Gray's Reef National Marine Sanctuary (GRNMS). EDGES is available free of charge to registered users of www.science-approach.com .
