The thermometer topped 108 degrees June 21 in Tucson, but Science Approach staffers, more than 100 other exhibitors, and about 1,000 local teachers kept cool at the FAIR for Educators at the Holiday Inn Palo Verde.

FAIR stands for Fantastic A+ Instructional Resources, and the well-organized event was sponsored by Pima County School Superintendent’s Office and the Glassman Foundation.

Two dozen teachers attended Science Approach's break-out session, "SIMPLE Science and Other Tricks: Visualization Tools for Science Discovery," and the booth was rarely empty of visitors. Wonderful to see so many educators -- all from Southern Arizona!
